The 5016 Series IDC Socket Connectors
were designed to meet the requirements of SFF-8059 for use
on SFF-8049 cable assemblies. Our products have been extensively
tested and are in conformance with the listed specifications.
The primary application for these cables is to connect ATA
hard disk drives to the motherboard. In addition, these have
been used where noise reduction or cross talk is a concern.
Many applications may benefit from the G-S-G arrangement of
the connectors and cables.
