The R&D engineers are members and active
participants in technology-leading Industry Standardization
Committees such as SATA (Serial ATA Organization) and USB
(Universal Serial Bus Organization). This team of engineers
leads the Group on new, valued-added, or completely customized
design-in products for the Group’s worldwide customers.
The engineering group at Rapid Conn, Inc. is
also responsible for design, development, and fabrication
of all manufacturing equipment for the Group. Experienced
automation engineers devise assembly solutions ranging from
simple fixtures to semi-automatic equipment to fully automated,
high-technology machines.
Prototyping and product testing/evaluation
plays a key role in bringing new and custom product solutions
to the market faster with lower development costs and higher
quality assurance which results in lower product cost. Prototyping
and test/evaluation of assembly equipment also accelerates
a successful manufacturing process which ultimately leads
to fully automated solutions for high volume production requirements.
