DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER I:
(Job site/interview: Shenzhen,
China)
Must have B.S. in
Mechanical Engineering and have at least 4 years of
connector design experience.
Must have an excellent command of English language in
both speaking and writing.
Candidate must have experience using CAD software to
design and detail connectors preferably with Pro/E or
SolidWorks as well as AutoCAD.
In addition the candidate must have experience in
plastic injection molding, contact stamping, basic
electrical knowledge, and familiarity with connector
manufacturing techniques.
The position will be responsible for all product
drawings and specifications, designing and developing new
connectors, and the duties will include complete
project/program management responsibilities, including
working with customers and vendors to develop product
specifications through design and testing for both
electrical and environmental performance to manufacturing
start up.

both speaking and writing. Candidate must have experience
using CAD software to design and detail cable assemblies
preferably with Pro/E or SolidWorks as well as AutoCAD.
In addition the candidate must have experience in
plastic injection over-molding, contact stamping, wire
termination methods, basic electrical knowledge, and
familiarity with cable assembly manufacturing and extrusion
techniques. The
position will be responsible for all product drawings and
specifications, designing and developing new cables and
cable interconnect assemblies, and the duties will include
complete project/program management responsibilities,
including working with customers and vendors to develop
product specifications through design and testing for both
electrical and environmental performance to manufacturing
start up.
